Books that are actually ready when you need them
Monthly reconciliations, management accounts, and a straight answer whenever you ask "can we afford this?" — handled by the same person each month.
What monthly bookkeeping with us looks like
Everything reconciled by the 7th
Bank feeds, invoices and expenses matched and tidied within the first week of the following month — not chased down at tax time.
A management report you can read in five minutes
Profit, cash position, and the two or three numbers that matter most to your business, sent with a short written note, not a raw spreadsheet.
One point of contact, every month
Amahle handles your file directly, so questions get answered by someone who already knows your business.

"Before Bright Ledger, I found out how the business was doing about four months late, if at all. Now I get a report every month that actually tells me something."

About the bookkeeping service
Which accounting software do you use?
We work in Xero and QuickBooks Online, and can migrate you onto either if you're currently working from spreadsheets.
Can I switch plans as my business grows?
Yes — plans adjust monthly based on actual transaction volume, so you're never locked into last year's size.
Do you also file our VAT and PAYE?
Bookkeeping includes the reconciliation those filings depend on; the filings themselves sit under our tax and compliance service, often bundled together.
What if we're behind on our books already?
Very common — most new clients arrive a few months behind. We quote a one-off catch-up fee separately from the ongoing monthly rate.
